It's raining pinkies!

This has been a crazy week! Wombats are being killed on roads every day - we have rescued a new pinkie almost every night this week. Poor Les is exhausted from being up all day and night feeding babies.

Below is a picture of the newest addition to our wombat family. She has a teat in her mouth because she was still on the teat after her mother died so it had to be cut off the dead mother's body to avoid damage to her mouth that would have been caused by pulling it out of her mouth.

This little girl doesn't have a name yet so if you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments.
